Job summary

Client is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to strengthen product quality across applications, APIs, and cloud-based environments. You will design scalable automated testing frameworks and partner with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams to enable reliable releases.

Role emphasizes quality metrics, exploratory testing, and continuous improvement in a fast-moving tech organization, with remote US-based work and visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing and quality engineering experience.
• Strong automation experience with JavaScript and/or Java.
• Hands-on with Playwright or Appium testing tools.
• Familiarity with microservices and distributed systems.
• Solid CI/CD and Kubernetes deployments knowledge.
• Experience with Kafka and both SQL and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks.
• Plan and execute comprehensive testing strategies for apps and APIs.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams for reliable releases.
• Define, track, and analyze quality metrics for continuous improvement.
• Lead best practices in test automation and quality engineering.
• Perform exploratory and risk-based testing to find edge cases.
• Mentor teammates in quality engineering practices.
