Job summary

Centene Corporation seeks an experienced Project Manager to plan, organize and oversee complex initiatives from anywhere in the Continental United States. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards across multiple stakeholders.

You will drive execution, maintain PM methodologies, and report status to executives. A bachelor's degree is required; 4+ years in PM is expected, with PMP/CAPM preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 4+ years of project management and implementation or program management experience.
• Proficient with MS Office applications and project management tools. Experience working with and leading diverse groups and matrix managed environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, monitor, and oversee complex projects utilizing cross functional teams to deliver defined requirements and meet objectives.
• Manage full project lifecycle: requirements, plans, schedules, resources, budget, execution, deployment, closure.
• Utilize standard PM tools and techniques to effectively manage projects.
• Establish and maintain corporate PM methodology and department procedures.
• Maintain detailed project documentation including meeting minutes, action items, issues, and risk plans.
• Provide leadership and communicate project status to stakeholders, including executive summaries.
• Negotiate with stakeholders to identify resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate cross-functional meetings to meet stakeholder expectations and company objectives.
• Provide functional and technical knowledge across multiple business and technical areas.
• Monitor creation of deliverables to ensure quality standards (design documents, test plans, training materials, operations doc).
