Job summary

Responsibilities include resource estimation, scheduling, cost forecasting, and ensuring compliance with contracts while mentoring project coordinators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (public health, quantitative social science, or management) with ten years’ progressively responsible project management experience.
• PMP certification or equivalent.
• Experience managing large teams working toward complex goals.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Strong supervisory and mentoring skills.
• Demonstrated strong verbal/written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project work plans and task-based resource estimates.
• Monitor milestone accomplishment and budget/resource use.
• Review and re-estimate work plans and resources with changing priorities and budgets.
• Prepare generalized project cost estimates from plans and labor rates.
• Collaborate with proposal staff after contract award to finalize estimates.
• Manage expenditures in line with budgets and fiscal years.
