Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead a large, geographically dispersed team in program management, data, and reporting activities at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This is a fully remote position with the contract contingent upon award and funding.

The role emphasizes advising government stakeholders on best processes, methodologies, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver on complex IT and data projects across ICE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or commensurate experience).
• 12+ years of experience in dynamic customer delivery environments.
• Direct experience in a Law enforcement specific environment.
• Experience working with ICE specific data and processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing processes and practices to streamline reporting and data needs across ICE Areas of Responsibility (AORs).
• Provide thought leadership on pathways for innovation and automation for project team deliverables and HQ communications.
• Provide guidance to delivery team personnel on daily/weekly requirements and ad-hoc tasks.
• Lead customer engagement to discuss needs, issues, and challenges faced by the clients and pathways to resolution.
• Lead cross-discipline team coordination to ensure alignment with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
• Review project deliverables to ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Develop, gather and disseminate information among business and technical customers.
• Establish effective project communication plans and ensure execution.
• Analyze changes in requirements and recommend expedient solutions.
• Translate complex issues into a clear narrative and compelling point of view.
• Prepare meeting agendas and create succinct visualizations using PowerPoint.
