Job summary

GovCIO seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead a large, geographically dispersed team delivering program management, data, and reporting support for ICE under DHS. This remote role focuses on guiding teams and stakeholders to implement effective processes, methodologies, and timely task execution across government mission areas.

The position is fully remote and contingent upon contract award; candidate must have extensive federal project delivery experience and ability to coordinate with on-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or commensurate experience)
• 12+ years of experience in dynamic customer delivery environments (2 years may be removed for a masters)
• Direct experience in a Law enforcement environment
• Experience working with ICE specific data and processes

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing processes and practices to streamline reporting and data needs across ICE Areas of Responsibility (AORs)
• Provide thought leadership on paths for innovation and automation for project team deliverables and HQ communications
• Provide guidance to delivery team personnel on daily/weekly requirements and ad-hoc tasks
• Lead customer engagement to discuss needs, issues, and challenges and pathways to resolution
• Lead cross-discipline teams to ensure alignment with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules
• Review project deliverables and artifacts for compliance and quality
• Develop and disseminate information among business and technical customers to support the program
• Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution
• Analyze changes in requirements and recommend timely solutions
• Translate complex issues into a clear narrative and prepare concise visualizations using tools like PowerPoint
