Job summary

AVANGRID POWER, LLC seeks a Senior Project Manager for remote work in OR, WA, or TX. The role leads engineering and construction for wind and thermal energy projects, overseeing budgets, schedules and EPC activities from pre-construction through operations.

The Project Manager provides cost and schedule recommendations, directs a team of engineers and site managers, and maintains safety and compliance across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related study.
• 10 years of experience in project engineering and construction of electric generation projects.
• 5 years of experience in project development or management.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops design, procurement and construction contracts during pre-construction phases.
• Directs project engineers and site managers to meet milestones safely, on schedule and within budget.
• Negotiates and manages EPC activities and owner’s project management during implementation.
