Buro Happold seeks a Senior Project Controls Manager to partner with project teams across the US and elevate financial performance, forecasting, and governance. This role offers a flexible, hybrid work arrangement within the United States.

You will be the Deltek Vantagepoint expert, building actionable dashboards in Excel and Power BI, guiding leaders on risk, debt, invoicing, and resource planning to drive smarter commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in project controls, project finance, or commercial management.
• Experience in architecture, engineering, design, or construction environments.
• Deep working knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint, including project setup and invoicing.
• Strong financial analysis skills covering profitability, forecasting, and risk.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to review project financial performance and support informed commercial decisions.
• Lead and support reviews focused on profitability, forecasting, fee performance, project health, and risk.
• Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Serve as a Deltek Vantagepoint SME for project workflows.
• Improve data quality, reporting consistency, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Deltek Vantagepoint, Excel, and Power BI.
• Coach teams on forecasting, invoicing, risk management, and project controls.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and automation opportunities.
