Job summary

Buro Happold seeks a Senior Project Controls Manager to join our US Project Operations team. This role offers remote work with hybrid flexibility and focuses on improving financial performance, forecasting, and governance across projects.

You will leverage Deltek Vantagepoint, Excel, and Power BI to turn data into actionable insights, lead reviews, mentor teams, and drive process improvements that enhance profitability and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 8+ years in project controls, project finance, commercial management, or project operations.
• Experience in architecture/engineering/construction or project-based services.

Responsibilities

• Review project financial performance with leaders and support commercial decisions.
• Lead portfolio reviews focusing on profitability, forecasting, invoicing, and risk.
• Analyze variances, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions.
• Serve as expert for Deltek Vantagepoint including setup, forecasting, invoicing and reporting.
• Develop dashboards and templates using Deltek Vantagepoint, Excel, and Power BI.
• Coach teams on forecasting, invoicing, risk management, and project controls.
