Buro Happold is seeking a Senior Project Controls Manager to join our US Project Operations team. This role, remote with hybrid flexibility, focuses on improving project financial performance, forecasting accuracy, and commercial governance.

You will leverage Deltek Vantagepoint, Excel, Power BI, and strong financial acumen to guide decision making. You will partner with Project Directors, Job Leaders, and Finance to drive profitability, risk management, and cross-functional process

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, Project Management or related field
• 8+ years in project controls, project finance, commercial management, or project operations
• Experience in architecture, engineering, construction, design or other project-based services
• Deep knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint: setup, forecasting, planning, billing, reporting
• Strong financial analysis for profitability, revenue, forecasting, debt, and risk
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills
• Experience leading process improvement and change management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsabilidades

• Partner with leaders to review project financial performance and identify risks and opportunities
• Lead reviews focused on profitability, forecasting, and commercial risk
• Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions
• Serve as subject matter expert for Deltek Vantagepoint across project finance workflows
• Improve data quality, reporting consistency, and cross-functional collaboration
• Develop dashboards, reports, and templates using Deltek Vantagepoint, Excel and Power BI
• Coach teams on forecasting, budgeting, invoicing, and risk management
• Lead process improvements including workflow analysis and adoption of new tools
