Job summary

SNZweig is seeking a Senior Project Accountant with strong Deltek Ajera experience to manage multi-client engagements remotely. You will prepare financial statements, lead reviews, and ensure accurate project accounting and billing.

The role requires solid GAAP knowledge, cross-client coordination, and a client-focused mindset. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in project accounting, experience in the AEC sector, and the ability to guide junior accountants.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience in a Senior Project Accountant or similar role.
• Experience within the AEC industry preferred.
• Financial statement preparation including tie-out to subsidiary schedules and anomaly analysis.
• Knowledge of job costing, WIP analysis, and project accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare periodic client financial statement packages (financial statements, financial analysis, financial workpapers and support).
• Analyze financial reports for trends, discrepancies, and anomalies.
• Maintain multiple client general ledgers, prepare journal entries, and maintain client trial balances.
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations and account roll forwards.
• Complete client invoicing, accounts receivable activities, and bank/credit card reconciliations.
• Lead client-facing financial review meetings and communicate financial performance insights clearly.
