Job summary

Viant is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead NPI, product transfers, and strategic programs across its manufacturing network. The role requires strong engineering and manufacturing experience in the medical device space, including plastics and metals, and PMI-based program management capabilities.

You will oversee cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining close customer partnerships. Remote US-based with travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of post-college professional experience.
• 5+ years of Program Management, Engineering PM, or Engineering Management in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing; CDMO preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of plastic injection molding, tooling, materials, process validation, and quality requirements.
• Experience with tooling, molds, and production launches/transfers; metals manufacturing experience a plus.
• Experience with FDA-regulated and ISO quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams on NPI, product transfers, cost reduction, integrations, insourcing, and strategic programs.
• Serve as primary contact between Viant and the customer.
• Define scope, budget, requirements, and deliverables and communicate them.
• Ensure IMS planning, coordination, execution, tracking, and closure of programs.
• Develop and maintain a fully Integrated Master Schedule using Microsoft Project.
• Lead risk management, mitigation planning, and corrective actions.
• Manage program budgets, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Ensure activities meet Viant SOPs and FDA/ISO regulatory requirements.
• Drive on-time delivery of milestones and provide weekly status reports.
• Provide monthly project reviews and communicate revised plans to customers.
• Collaborate with plant management to develop recovery plans and actions.
