Vantage MedTech is seeking an experienced Program Manager (Independent Contractor) to lead complex hardware and software programs in a regulated medical device environment from Olathe, KS. The role emphasizes governance, cross-functional execution, risk management, and strategic guidance for stakeholders and customers throughout the engagement.

Contractors will deliver data-driven analysis, status updates, and recommendations to drive on-time, on-budget outcomes and design transfer readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline
• 10+ years of program management, product development, engineering, or technical consulting experience for complex projects
• Experience in medical device, healthcare tech, life sciences, or regulated industries with knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to deliver complex projects with multiple stakeholders, third-party partners, and executive engagement
• Strong knowledge of product development processes, design controls, quality systems, regulatory requirements, and commercialization activities
• Experience providing strategic guidance, risk assessment, stakeholder facilitation, and project execution support in complex technical environments

Responsabilités

• Developing and facilitating the execution of program strategies, governance structures, and implementation plans to achieve defined objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality requirements
• Facilitating cross-functional collaboration and coordinating project activities through all phases of the program lifecycle
• Identifying and evaluating program risks, issues, dependencies, and potential impacts with mitigation strategies
• Serving as a strategic advisor by providing project status updates, insights, recommendations, and guidance
• Facilitating meetings, workshops, and decision-making processes to align stakeholders and support execution
• Providing data-driven analysis, reporting, and recommendations to inform business decisions
• Recommending process improvements, best practices, and operational efficiencies to enhance performance
