Job summary

Viant Medical Inc. in Fremont, CA is seeking an R&D Project Manager to lead medical device development from discovery through design transfer. You will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with customers, and ensure milestones, budgets, and schedules are met with hands-on technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• 1-3 years of medical device product design and development experience.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations and ISO 13485 standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from discovery to design transfer with key milestones and deliverables.
• Maintain information flow among team members, management, and clients.
• Identify and communicate project risks related to scope, timeline, and budget.
• Organize and track tasks across internal teams and external partners to stay on schedule and within budget.
• Develop project plans outlining phases, tasks, dependencies, timelines, resources and costs.
• Establish and track weekly/monthly goals, budgets and schedules.
