Job summary

Committee for Children is seeking a Senior Product Manager of Edtech Innovation to lead a new K–12 US product line from concept to launch. You’ll translate market insights into scalable solutions that support students, educators, and schools, and run disciplined agile delivery to turn strategy into shipped products.

You will collaborate with the VP of Product, leadership, and cross-functional teams to secure resources, guide innovation, and drive performance for a sustainable product line.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in EdTech or youth-focused industries.
• Proven track record leading 0–1 product development and launching new products that achieved scale and revenue targets.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools for product development, user research, or personalization.
• Hands‑on experience with agile/Scrum or Kanban practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Experience managing or influencing cross‑functional teams.
• Deep understanding of K–12 education markets, especially district and school purchasing dynamics.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Travel is typically quarterly but may be as frequent as every two months for research and testing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to develop portfolio-expanding new products aligned with our diversification strategy and mission.
• Translate student, educator, and district needs into a scalable product vision and define success metrics.
• Own the product roadmap and backlog prioritization, with final accountability for stage-gate decisions.
• Lead agile delivery, maintain epics and user stories, and track delivery health.
