Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for a remote-first role. You will optimize complex manufacturing processes, analyze data for bottlenecks, and drive cost-saving improvements across global locations.

The position requires strong SPC/Lean/Six Sigma expertise and a track record of leading virtual teams. You will validate processes, troubleshoot remotely, and maintain comprehensive SOPs and training materials to support a distributed workforce.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
7+ years of progressive process engineering experience in manufacturing with emphasis on optimization and efficiency.
Experience in remote supervision or virtual team leadership.
Expertise in SPC, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.
Proficiency with process simulation tools and data analysis software.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and continually improve manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and quality across product lines.
Analyze production data to find bottlenecks and cost-saving opportunities; present findings to senior management.
Design and execute process validation protocols in line with industry regulations and best practices.
Troubleshoot complex production issues remotely and collaborate with on-site teams as needed.
Lead virtual project teams to implement new technologies and process upgrades.
Maintain thorough documentation of SOPs, specs, and training for remote staff.
