Job summary

WCG Clinical, Inc. is hiring a Senior Principal Statistical Programmer to serve as a senior technical leader for clinical trial programming. You will design, develop, validate, and oversee complex outputs (analysis datasets, tables, listings, figures) and guide teams to high quality, regulated results.

You’ll collaborate with biostatistics, data management, and study teams to drive standards, automation, and scalable solutions, ensuring timely, compliant deliverables across programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of statistical programming experience in a clinical trial environment.
• Deep expertise in SAS programming, including complex analyses and regulatory deliverables.
• Proficiency in R programming is a must.
• Demonstrated experience with CDISC standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to independently lead complex programming efforts across studies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical expert in statistical programming across multiple studies.
• Design, develop, validate, and oversee complex programming deliverables.
• Lead the development, validation, and improvement of DMC macros and standards.
• Provide technical oversight to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency.
• Drive programming standards, best practices, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with biostatistics and study teams on complex trial designs and analyses.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to programming staff.
• Support regulatory submissions and inspection readiness activities.
