Job summary

WCG Clinical, Inc. seeks a Senior Statistical Programmer to develop, validate, and document SAS programs supporting regulatory submissions. You will lead programming for trials, mentor junior staff, and ensure quality and compliance across SDTM/ADaM datasets in a remote U.S. environment.

You will collaborate with statisticians, data managers, and clinical teams to meet project requirements, troubleshoot issues, and drive process improvements for efficient data reporting and timely submissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of SAS programming experience.
• R programming experience strongly preferred.
• At least 2 years of macro programming experience.
• 3+ years in the pharmaceutical, vaccines, biotech, or medical device industry.
• Phase 1–4 clinical trials experience.
• Deep knowledge of CDISC SDTM/ADaM.
• Attention to detail and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and document SAS programs for SDTM/ADaM datasets.
• Lead programming activities, manage resources and timelines.
• Perform QC checks and peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with statisticians and data managers.
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure timely reporting.
• Oversee studies/projects with budgeting and priorities.
• Mentor junior programmers.
• Interpret SAP programming specs.
