Job summary

One Call is seeking a Senior/Principal Software Engineer to provide architectural depth and hands-on leadership in a modernizing, legacy-heavy environment. You will guide teams across .NET, SQL Server, and front-end stacks while delivering high-quality software for mission-critical applications.

This remote-first role emphasizes pragmatic tradeoffs, strong engineering practices, and collaboration with Product, QA, and Design to ensure predictable delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building enterprise .NET applications in C# (.NET Framework + .NET Core).
• Experience modernizing large legacy .NET codebases and implementing modern patterns.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services, logging, monitoring and observability.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive architecture and design discussions across multiple applications.
• Provide hands-on guidance across .NET, SQL, and front-end stacks.
• Implement robust APIs, REST services, and data-access layers.
• Lead code reviews, mentoring, and CI/CD improvements.
• Partner with Product, QA, and Design to ensure predictable delivery.
