Job summary

One Call seeks a Senior/Principal Software Engineer to provide architectural depth and hands-on leadership in a legacy-heavy environment modernizing our .NET stack. You will guide engineers across .NET Framework, .NET Core, and front-end stacks, delivering high-quality software across mission-critical applications.

This remote-first role emphasizes architectural vision, fast delivery, and mentoring, with opportunities to influence engineering practices and ensure robust CI/CD and observability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building enterprise .NET applications in C# and VB.NET.
• Experience modernizing large legacy .NET codebases.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services, logging, monitoring, and observability patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive architecture and design discussions across multiple applications and services.
• Provide pragmatic, hands-on guidance to teams across .NET, SQL, and front-end stacks.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server objects (stored procedures, ETL, reporting).
• Build and enhance web apps using ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Web Forms, and WinForms.
• Establish coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and maintainability practices.
