Job summary

Autodesk, Inc. seeks a Senior Principal AI/ML Developer to drive ML model development for Autodesk’s GET Applied AI initiative in California. Lead end-to-end ML pipelines, personalize eCommerce experiences, and inform data-driven decisions across platforms.

You will mentor junior data scientists, establish robust experimentation (A/B) frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn data insights into strategic actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science or related technical field.
• 10+ years leading technical project strategy, ML design, and scalable ML infra (deployment, evaluation, data processing).
• 7 years in design/architecture and software product testing/launch.
• 10+ years hands-on data mining and information retrieval.
• Experience with A/B testing and experimental design.

Responsibilities

• Champion a data-driven culture and guide key data science areas: segmentation, recommendations, forecasting, product analytics, churn, insights.
• Build end-to-end ML pipelines to scale Autodesk eCommerce personalization.
• Develop robust experimentation frameworks for fast, scientifically rigorous iteration and deployment.
• Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
• Mentor junior data scientists and guide technical decisions and code/document reviews.
