Xometry is seeking a Senior Principal, Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence to lead large cross-functional ML/AI initiatives with a lasting business impact. You will own an 18–24-month technical roadmap balancing breakthrough innovation with reliable business value delivery.

You will mentor teams and partner with engineering, product, and operations to drive revenue growth, cost reduction, and improved efficiency, especially in 2D/3D modeling and generative AI.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in CS or related field.
• 12+ years in ML/AI/data science roles with senior or principal leadership.
• Experience delivering large-scale ML/AI solutions end-to-end.
• Deep expertise in ML frameworks and cloud platforms.
• Experience with 3D modeling, CV, or generative models is highly desirable.
• Strong collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead large cross-functional ML/AI initiatives with lasting business impact.
• Own an 18–24 month technical roadmap balancing innovation and value.
• Influence partner roadmaps across engineering, product, operations, and business teams.
• Remove roadblocks and mentor individuals and teams.
• Guide ML infrastructure, data pipelines, and tooling decisions.
• Identify opportunities to drive revenue, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
