Job summary

Amentum seeks a Pricing Senior Manager to lead cost proposal development, pricing strategy, and analysis for major proposals. This remote role favors candidates near an Amentum HQ (Chantilly, VA or Fort Worth, TX) or with travel ability; US citizenship is required.

You will drive budget analysis, spreadsheet development, and narrative responses, leveraging advanced Excel skills and data-driven methods to win new business while adhering to FAR/DFAR/CAS principles.

Qualifications

Twelve years’ experience in cost proposal preparation or development.
Eight years’ experience with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
Two years’ experience in contracts or pricing may substitute for each year of college.

Responsibilities

Oversee cost proposal development and pricing strategies for major proposals.
Ensure compliance with the estimating system manual as well as other policies and procedures.
Manages and integrates daily work assignments, develops project schedules, budgets, and plans, and manages personnel, finances, and facilities to achieve proposal objectives.
Develops and executes business and proposal development objectives within established budgets to reach determined goals.
Directs and manages people and financial resources to achieve company strategic and tactical new business objectives.
Maintains a good working relationship with all Program/Project Managers and upper management to attain success objectives.
