Job summary

Amentum, headquartered in Chantilly, VA, seeks a senior proposal leader to guide cost proposal development and pricing strategy across major bids. The role requires extensive FAR/DFAR/CAS knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Travel 10-20% may be needed. Compensation reflects senior responsibilities in federal contracting.

Qualifications

Typically twelve (12) years’ experience in cost proposal preparation or development; 8 years with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree.
Five (5) years in a management position preferred.
Experience in base operations support, range operations, Space Force, NASA contracts.
US Citizenship is required to apply.
Travel: 10-20%.

Responsibilities

Oversees cost proposal development and pricing strategies for major and strategic proposals.
Ensures compliance with the estimating system manual as well as other policies and procedures.
Manages and integrates daily work assignments, develops project schedules, budgets, and plans, and manages personnel, finances, and facilities.
Develops and implements new business capture/proposal strategies for achieving company new business objectives.
Develops and executes business and proposal development objectives within established budgets.
Directs and manages people and financial resources to achieve company strategic and tactical objectives.
