Preferred candidates will have extensive cost proposal experience, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of FAR/DFAR/CAS, with the ability to leverage AI tools to improve processes while ensuring human oversight.

Qualifications

• Typically 12 years in cost proposal preparation; 8 years with a Master's/Bachelor's in related field.
• 5 years in a management role preferred.
• Experience with base operations, Space Force, NASA contracts.
• US Citizenship required to apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cost proposal development and pricing strategies.
• Ensure compliance with the estimating system and policies.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and resources to meet objectives.
• Develop and implement new business capture/strategic proposal strategies.
• Direct teams to achieve new business goals within budgets.
• Maintain relationships with PMs and upper management.
