Job summary

Everpure, formerly Pure Storage, is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to drive technical wins in the Albany area with remote flexibility. You will partner with the sales team, understand customer business needs, and tailor storage solutions across DAS/NAS/SAN stacks.

The role requires 8+ years in enterprise tech, strong Linux/VMware knowledge, and cloud familiarity. Ability to present compelling architecture demonstrations is essential.

Qualifications

• BS in CS, EE or related technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Pre-sales experience required.
• Must reside in the Albany, NY area.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts.
• Familiar with storage architectures (FC, NAS, SAN) and cloud platforms.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of customer business drivers and decision factors.
• Translate technology solutions into measurable customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with account teams to drive revenue growth and new business.
• Lead technical evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations.
• Create and present technical product and architecture materials to customers.
