Job summary

Vanta is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Design Systems to own the product strategy and roadmap for the frontend design system and platform. You will drive scalable components and APIs, enabling cross-functional teams to ship high-quality experiences with AI-ready capabilities.

You will partner with design and engineering leaders, ensure accessibility and localization, and lead adoption of design-system changes while shaping the function within Vanta’s Platform organization.

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years of product management, with real ownership of a design system, frontend platform, or developer-facing product.
• Strong taste and ability to set and maintain high quality for scale across teams.
• Hands-on mindset: able to spin up prototypes and demos using component building blocks.
• Proven ability to collaborate with design and engineering leaders and translate strategy into measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision and roadmap for the frontend design system and front-end platform.
• Evolve the design system into composable building blocks with consistent APIs, including AI/LLM-ready components.
• Drive accessibility and internationalization programs to milestones and localization scales.
• Partner with AI teams to enable agentic patterns for product experiences.
• Lead go-to-market and adoption for design-system changes and triage quality issues across the craft team.
• Collaborate with engineering and design leads as a triad to prioritize high-impact work.
• Plan 12–18 month scaling of the design system and front-end platform, including AI-native use cases.
