Job summary

LVI Associates seeks a Senior Project Manager, Construction Administration for mission-critical/data center projects. This remote, U.S.-based role oversees construction from handoff to closeout, coordinating owners, design teams, contractors, and field personnel on high-visibility facilities.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in engineering/construction, 3+ years onsite, strong MEP knowledge, and proficiency with Procore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in engineering, construction, project management, or mission-critical environments.
• 3+ years of field or onsite construction experience.
• Strong understanding of MEP building systems, construction processes, and project delivery methodologies.
• Experience with mission-critical, data center, industrial, or large-scale commercial projects preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management platforms such as Procore.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction administration activities from completion of design through project closeout.
• Serve as the primary interface between ownership groups, contractors, design teams, and field personnel.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, field reports, punch lists, and project documentation.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify risks, and support issue resolution.
• Coordinate across mechanical, electrical, fire protection, fire alarm, and other technical disciplines.
• Lead project meetings and provide strategic guidance on technical and execution-related matters.
• Review contractor proposals and provide recommendations for project execution.
• Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes throughout construction.
• Support project financial performance, including budget management, forecasting, profitability, and change management.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships while identifying opportunities for future work.
• Champion the use of digital tools, construction technology, data analytics, and emerging AI-driven solutions to improve project execution.
