Jobgether SRL seeks a Lead Software Engineer based in the United States. You will provide senior technical leadership for Platform Services APIs and services powering a broad software platform.

The role emphasizes architecture, hands-on engineering, and cross-team collaboration in a fully remote US environment. Responsibilities include shaping scalable backend systems, driving architectural decisions, and mentoring engineers to raise technical standards.

Qualifications

• 7–8+ years of software engineering with growing scope and ownership.
• Experience leading design and delivery of large-scale, cross-team initiatives.
• Strong background in distributed backend systems and APIs.
• Ability to document, defend architectural trade-offs and influence technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve architecture for core platform APIs and interoperability.
• Lead cross-cutting technical initiatives from proposal through delivery.
• Design and guide authentication/interoperability using OAuth, SAML, and related standards.
• Establish engineering best practices and architectural patterns across codebases.
• Review designs and production code to uphold quality and maintainability.
• Mentor engineers and raise technical standards without formal people management.
