AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer to join a fully remote team supporting nuclear and commercial projects. The role emphasizes piping design, analysis, and implementation with exposure to P&ID creation, 3D modeling, and stress analysis.

Senior-level engineers will mentor juniors and collaborate across disciplines to ensure robust, compliant plant systems. Applicants should have a mechanical engineering degree and nuclear industry experience, with CAD proficiency (SolidWorks).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in mechanical engineering or related technical field.
• Nuclear industry experience preferred.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks.
• Ability to apply advanced technical principles to resolve engineering issues.
• Experience in piping system design, analysis, and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design, layout, installation, and maintenance of piping systems and supports.
• Create detailed drawings, P&IDs, and 3D models for piping routes and plant setup.
• Perform stress analysis and calculations to ensure structural integrity.
• Review documents and ensure compliance with design codes and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior colleagues and perform quality reviews.
• Support design across disciplines and participate in project-based work.
