Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Engineering Multidiscipline Specialist to design and coordinate piping systems for power generation and industrial facilities across multiple US locations. The role supports 3D design, PFDs/P&IDs, and field coordination with engineers and clients.

You will work with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, SP3D, Navisworks, BIM, and Revit, with potential travel to client sites and possible remote or hybrid arrangements within the United States.

Qualifications

• Two-year mechanical degree or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years in an engineering design firm.
• Experience with power plant design (combined cycle, simple cycle, nuclear).
• Experience with ASME B31.1 Power Piping and design/routing of high pressure steam and feedwater piping.
• Experience with pipe support design.
• Experience with industrial retrofit projects is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, SP3D SmartPlant, Navisworks, BIM, Revit.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, design, modify, coordinate and review piping and equipment designs for power generation facilities.
• Prepare PFDs and P&IDs under supervision of process engineer.
• Layout complex piping systems in 3D and prepare isometrics with BOM.
• Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers and clients.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and team members across offices.
• Assist in field construction progress reviews and participate in commissioning.
