AtkinsRéalis in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking an Intermediate Piping Engineer Energy – Remote to design and deliver piping systems for nuclear and commercial projects. You will create P&IDs, 3D piping models, and perform stress analyses to ensure safety and reliability.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree, 3+ years of experience, and proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks. Remote working is supported, with site collaboration as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• Experience in nuclear industry preferred.
• Knowledge of industry codes and regulations.
• CAD software experience, especially SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Design, layout, installation and maintenance of piping systems and supports.
• Create piping routes, P&IDs and 3D models.
• Perform stress analysis and material/specification selection.
• Review drawings and engineering documents for quality and compliance.
• Collaborate in multi-discipline teams and mentor junior staff.
• Site experience in construction or commissioning is a plus.
