Job summary

Bush & Bush Law Group is seeking a Senior Personal Injury Trial Attorney to manage a PI caseload from intake through trial and to lead the firm's litigation presence in the assigned state. The role emphasizes MVA/CVA experience, strong courtroom skills, and the ability to work remotely with high productivity.

The ideal candidate will have a JD, an active license in a qualifying state, and at least 10 years of plaintiff PI litigation experience, with first-chair trial experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active license and good standing in Ohio, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Washington, California, or New York.
• Minimum 10 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
• Extensive MVA and CVA litigation experience required.
• Significant deposition, mediation, and courtroom experience.
• First-chair trial experience strongly preferred.
• Strong legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage a litigation docket.
• Experience working remotely while maintaining high productivity and responsiveness.
• Established relationships with medical providers, experts, and litigation support professionals are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a personal injury caseload from intake through resolution.
• Handle MVA, CVA, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex injury claims.
• Develop litigation strategies and oversee all phases of litigation.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
• Prepare and try cases when settlement is not in the client's best interest.
• Work closely with paralegals, case managers, and support staff to maximize outcomes.
• Serve as lead personal injury attorney within the assigned state and grow operations.
• Develop relationships with medical providers, investigators, and experts to support case strategy.
• Provide guidance on local court rules and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
