Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Senior Pharmacy PA/Appeals Technician in Wyoming to manage prior authorizations, perform clinical reviews, and support pharmacy benefits. You will handle high volumes of calls, document interactions, and ensure compliance with SLAs.

The role offers telecommuting flexibility within Wyoming and requires an active Wyoming license, PTCB/ExCPT with NHA, and basic MS Office skills. Evening/weekend shifts and on-call duties apply.

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Wyoming Pharmacy Technician license.
PTCB or ExCPT with NHA certification preferred.
6+ months of customer service experience in healthcare.
Basic proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook.
Ability to work 5:00 AM to 12:00 AM, with OT and weekend shifts.
Must be currently located in Wyoming state.

Responsibilities

Handle high volume inbound/outbound calls (50+ daily).
Process prior authorizations across multiple systems and apply policies.
Provide clinical review for authorizations in line with SLAs and guidelines.
Document interactions per regulatory requirements.
Assist pharmacists with consultations and data gathering.
