Job summary

Smile Digital Health is seeking a Senior Performance Tester to design, develop, and execute performance test plans ensuring scalability and reliability of our software systems. You will work with stakeholders and engineering teams to determine requirements, test data, and environments, and you will analyze results, create reports, and drive improvements.

The role requires 5+ years in performance testing, experience with Azure/AWS, JMeter, and monitoring tools, and a strong SDLC/Agile background.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Performance Testing.
• Experience with Service Virtualization and test data management tools.
• Experience with application monitoring, alerting and log tracing tools.
• Hands-on with SQL Server/Azure SQL databases.
• Excellent technical documentation skills.
• Good understanding of SDLC methodologies and Agile project experience.
• Experience with MS Azure or other major public cloud vendors.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Azure CLI, distributed JMeter execution, OAuth 2.0 API Authorization and Linux bash.
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress, load, regression, and performance testing to validate production readiness.
• Model performance scenarios and identify bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to include testing requirements in test plans.
• Design, develop, and execute performance test plans across multiple projects.
• Analyze NFRs to identify best testing strategies.
• Collect and report performance testing results to teams.
• Understand Smile Digital Health products to plan QA activities.
• Review performance test scripts for standards compliance.
• Provide recommendations to improve product performance and scalability.
• Design, implement and maintain performance test frameworks.
• Use JMeter to design and execute tests against APIs and web apps.
• Execute daily load benchmarks and system-level tests.
• Ensure accurate reporting of hours in Netsuite and project tools.
