Job summary
AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to own an enterprise-wide performance engineering function across web, mobile, kiosk, POS, loyalty, and payments systems. Design and execute load, stress, and endurance tests using JMeter, k6, or similar tools, and integrate automated validation into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with SRE/DevOps on chaos engineering experiments, leverage AI-assisted workflows for planning and triage, and drive AI guardrails.
Qualifications
- Experience in performance engineering at enterprise scale.
- Ability to design and execute load, stress, and endurance tests.
- Experience integrating automated validation into CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Own the enterprise Performance Engineering charter and establish SDLC readiness standards.
- Design, script, execute, and report performance tests across high-volume flows.
- Identify bottlenecks across app, DB, messaging, and infra layers using observability signals.
- Embed automated performance validation into CI/CD pipelines with baselines and thresholds.
- Partner with SRE/DevOps to run chaos-engineering experiments and define reliability targets.
- Provide evidence-based go/no-go release recommendations and assist with incident resolution.
