Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to own an enterprise-wide performance function across a global digital ecosystem, including web, mobile, kiosk, POS, loyalty, and payments. You will design and execute load, stress, and endurance tests using JMeter, k6, or similar tools, and integrate automated performance validation into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with SRE/DevOps to run chaos experiments, define reliability targets, and provide evidence-based go/no-go

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in performance engineering or non-functional testing at enterprise scale.
• Experience with enterprise observability and cloud monitoring platforms (e.g., Dynatrace).
• Experience integrating automated performance validation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps).
• Scripting in Java, JavaScript, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise Performance Engineering charter as a horizontal shared service across high-volume systems.
• Design, script, execute, and report performance tests (load, stress, endurance, scalability).
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks across application, database, messaging, and infra layers using observability signals.
• Embed automated performance validation into CI/CD pipelines with baseline gating.
• Partner with SRE/DevOps for chaos engineering and reliability targets.
• Define performance-readiness criteria and assist with production incidents.
