Job summary
AgileEngine seeks a Senior Performance Engineer to own an enterprise-wide Performance Engineering function across a global digital ecosystem including web, mobile, kiosk, POS, loyalty, and payments. You will design and execute load, stress, and endurance tests using JMeter, k6, or similar tools, and integrate performance validation into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
Lead with SRE/DevOps on chaos experiments, define reliability targets, and guide go/no-go decisions.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in performance engineering at enterprise scale.
- Hands-on with performance testing tools: JMeter, k6, LoadRunner, Dynatrace.
- Experience integrating automated performance validation into CI/CD (Azure DevOps).
Responsibilities
- Own the enterprise Performance Engineering charter as a shared service.
- Design, script, run performance tests across ordering, kiosk, POS, loyalty, and payments.
- Identify bottlenecks across app, database, messaging, and infrastructure with observability signals.
- Embed automated performance validation into CI/CD pipelines with baselines and thresholds.
- Collaborate with SRE/DevOps on chaos engineering experiments.
- Define performance-readiness criteria and provide go/no-go release guidance.
- Integrate AI-assisted workflows into planning, test-design, and triage with guardrails.
