Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to own an enterprise-wide performance engineering function across a global digital ecosystem. You will design and execute load, stress, and endurance tests using JMeter, k6, or similar tools, and integrate automated validation into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

You will partner with SRE and DevOps to define reliability targets, run chaos-engineering experiments, and leverage AI-assisted workflows for performance planning and triage.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in performance engineering or non-functional testing at enterprise scale.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, OctoPerf).
• Experience with enterprise observability and cloud monitoring (Dynatrace).
• Experience integrating automated performance validation into CI/CD (Azure DevOps).
• Scripting in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Cloud experience in AWS or Azure.
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and validating AI outputs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder leadership; upper-intermediate English.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise Performance Engineering charter as a shared service.
• Design, script, execute and report performance tests across high-volume flows.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks across app, DB, messaging, and infra layers.
• Embed automated validation into CI/CD pipelines with baselines and thresholds.
• Define reliability targets and run chaos-engineering experiments.
• Provide go/no-go release recommendations and assist with incidents.
• Integrate AI-assisted workflows into planning and triage.
