Intuit is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve notices, corrections, amendments, and pay & file issues with high accuracy. This role supports PTO and SelectTime while mentoring teammates and growing technical depth.

The role works as a virtual expert, offering flexible hours with a minimum of 20 hours per week and potential up to 40 hours. Experience with tax notices, amended returns, and payroll corrections is required.

Qualifikationen

• 2–3+ years of payroll tax experience focused on notice resolution, amended returns, and corrections.
• Ability to read notices, identify type, and decide the resolution path across federal/state.
• Experience preparing amended Federal (941-X, W-2c) and state returns in multi-state contexts.
• FPC required; CPP preferred for 4+ years; CPP pursued encouraged.

Aufgaben

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work across assigned accounts.
• Research and resolve complex state and federal payroll tax notices.
• Prepare agency responses with supporting documentation within deadlines.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns independently (941-X, state).
• Document the correction audit trail and close cases.
