Qualifications

• 2–3+ years payroll tax experience with a multi-state focus.
• Experience resolving notices and preparing amended returns.
• Familiar with IRS/state notice types and payroll regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field; certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work from intake to closure.
• Research and resolve complex state and federal notices.
• Prepare agency responses with documentation before deadlines.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (Form 941-X, W-2c).
• Support correction workflows and quantify tax impact.
• Maintain case documentation and manage WIP queue.
