Intuit is seeking a Staff Payroll Tax Processor to lead complex state and federal payroll tax issues for PTO. The role focuses on tax defect resolution, including notices, corrections, amendments, and knowledge transfer to the team. Ideal candidates have strong coaching skills and experience in an SMB or multi-client payroll environment.

The position offers hourly, non-exempt work with potential overtime, flexible scheduling, and a collaborative, fast‑paced payroll tax operations team.

Competenze

• 4+ years of payroll tax experience with a focus on tax defect resolution across multiple states.

Mansioni

• Resolve complex State and Federal payroll tax notices across multi-quarter/state scenarios.
• Prepare and file amended Federal and State payroll tax returns (941-X/W-2c) across 10+ states.
• Diagnose payroll tax errors spanning multiple pay periods or jurisdictions; drive correction workflows to resolution.
• Maintain high productivity in resolving Notice, Correction, and Amendment requests.
• Coach junior staff and share resolution processes via SBIC feedback model.
• Develop and review SOPs and KB articles for core processes to reduce errors.
