Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Payroll Business Analyst for a remote, long-term contract with potential to convert to full-time. This role sits at the intersection of Payroll Operations, Payroll Tax, SAP ECP, Reporting, and Business Analysis.

You will investigate payroll and tax issues, support testing and change requests, and partner with Payroll Tax, HRIS, Finance, and Benefits to drive issues through resolution.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of payroll experience.
• Payroll audits and reconciliations.
• Payroll issue resolution.
• Tax notices, withholding issues, unemployment claims, tax compliance, or tax reconciliations.
• Hands-on SAP Employee Central Payroll experience.
• Payroll processing, auditing, reporting, testing, or troubleshooting within ECP.
• Root-cause analysis.
• Payroll reporting.
• Strong Excel.
• Ability to assess business impact and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Investigate payroll, payroll tax, and compliance issues.
• Perform payroll audits and reconciliations.
• Analyze payroll data and reporting.
• Support SAP ECP testing, validation, and change requests.
• Partner with Payroll Tax, HRIS, Finance, and Benefits teams.
• Review payroll outputs and identify discrepancies.
• Help prioritize and resolve payroll tax notices and compliance issues.
• Support process improvements and documentation.
• Assist with ECP-related troubleshooting and impact analysis.
