Lumen Technologies is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to ensure accurate time and attendance processing and seamless payroll operations across the United States. The role focuses on precise payroll calculation, responding to inquiries, and supporting HR activities.

You will work with Time & Attendance processes via WFS, stay compliant with multistate laws, and collaborate with Benefits and Payroll Operations. A high-accountability environment emphasizes timely, precise payroll execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business/HR.
• Minimum of five years of relevant payroll experience.
• Payroll experience is required.
• Workforce Software System (WFS) experience.
• Knowledge of multistate payroll laws and requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft tools.

Responsibilities

• Review time records and verify payroll compliance with applicable laws.
• Interpret and apply time reporting policies including vacation/leave/benefits.
• Respond to payroll inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Audit bi-weekly time entry.
• Utilize WFS exports and close time entry batches as required.
• Provide administrative support for related HR activities.
• Test support for WFS and coordinate with IT support.
• Collaborate with internal partners and vendors on time reporting improvements.
