Job summary

AvonRisk, a leading payroll-focused TPA, seeks a Senior Payroll Analyst based remotely in Rocklin, CA. You will run biweekly and off-cycle payrolls across multiple states and entities, ensuring accuracy, tax compliance, and on-time payroll processing.

In this role you will own multi-state payroll tax compliance, reconcile to the GL in Dynamics 365 Business Central, and support acquisitions and integrations through mapping and testing. Strong Paylocity and Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on multi-state payroll processing and tax compliance experience.
• Experience converting or consolidating payrolls from another provider.
• Knowledge of FLSA and state wage-and-hour rules, with emphasis on California.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly and off-cycle payrolls for multiple entities using Paylocity.
• Review payroll registers before approval and verify bonuses, commissions, and one-time payments.
• Own multi-state payroll tax compliance (federal, state, local).
• Review tax filings, W-2s, and amendments and reconcile to payroll records.
