Job summary

Milliman MedInsight is seeking a Senior Product Strategy Manager to shape our payer portfolio by translating market insights into differentiated product roadmaps and commercialization strategies.

You will partner with TPMs, GMs, and cross-functional leaders to drive investments, product definition, and market adoption, leveraging payer expertise and analytics to deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5-8+ years in product strategy, product management, healthcare consulting, or commercial strategy within healthcare tech, SaaS, or analytics serving payer organizations.
• Strong understanding of product strategy, commercialization, development lifecycles, and portfolio planning.
• Deep knowledge of payer operations, healthcare data, claims analytics, and health plan workflows, with ability to translate market needs into strategy.
• Experience evaluating market opportunities, developing business cases, and prioritizing investments using TAM/SAM/SOM.
• Experience launching and commercializing enterprise SaaS or healthcare analytics for payers is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; SQL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define strategic direction of MedInsight's payer portfolio translating market intelligence into 12-24 month roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, GMs, Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Leadership to guide investments from discovery to commercialization.
• Partner with General Managers and Product Leadership to evaluate opportunities and support annual business planning.
• Validate market opportunities with Sales, Client Success, and Marketing to accelerate adoption and drive commercial performance.
• Prioritize investments by evaluating market demand, differentiation, and build-versus-partner opportunities.
• Lead market validation, business case development, and requirements for Technical Product Management and Engineering.
• Identify opportunities to incorporate AI-enabled capabilities to improve value, scalability, and efficiency.
• Act as payer product SME supporting development, client engagements, webinars, conferences, and market-facing activities.
• Lead commercialization by developing positioning, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market plans with cross-functional teams.
• Measure product performance with market adoption and post-launch analytics to refine strategy.
• Collaborate across teams to align stakeholders and drive execution of initiatives.
• Partner with Client Services to define scalable service and operating models for adoption.
