Klickitat Valley Health is seeking a Senior Financial Assistance Specialist to provide expert financial counseling to patients before or during service. You will assess eligibility for Medicaid, charity care, and other resources, and help patients enroll in programs while ensuring compliance with the No Surprises Act and price transparency rules.

The role supports revenue cycle performance by reducing uncompensated care, optimizing third-party assistance, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Graduation or GED is required.
• Washington State Medicaid Navigator certification within 30 days of hire.
• Five or more years of direct experience in healthcare financial services or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial counseling to patients prior to or at service time.
• Evaluate eligibility for Medicaid, charity care, and other programs.
• Prepare Good Faith Estimates and ensure price transparency compliance.
