Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a Senior Business Director – ChemCare / OSS to own P&L for a $300M revenue, $45M EBITDA integrated services unit. You will drive profitable growth, operational excellence, and strategic alignment across ChemCare and OSS.

You will lead a cross-functional organization (~90 employees), shape the Annual Operating Plan, drive pricing, governance, and digital enablement, and partner with executives to extend our market leadership in industrial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years leadership experience in industrial services or chemical distribution.
• Proven P&L leadership experience.
• Strong commercial acumen and growth leadership.
• Experience in regulated environments (EH&S, waste services).
• Track record of leading transformation.
• Ability to operate strategically and tactically.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of a cross-functional organization (~90 employees) across commercial, operations, and support functions.
• Own and deliver Annual Operating Plan (AOP) across revenue, Gross Margin, and EBITDA.
• Drive pipeline-led growth (new business, cross-sell, churn recovery).
• Lead performance cadence: MORs, pipeline reviews, KPI dashboards.
• Optimize portfolio toward targeted high-value verticals; drive pricing strategy with Finance and Commercial.
• Excellence in safety and compliance culture, EH&S adherence, risk mitigation across the business.
• Serve as executive sponsor for enterprise customers; build cross-functional partnerships.
• Lead joint account planning and cross-sell execution; manage vendor/disposal networks.
• Define multi-year ChemCare / OSS strategy; embed services into broader Univar engine.
• Lead digital tools adoption (automation, analytics, system integration) to improve efficiency and customer experience.
