Job summary

Univar Solutions USA LLC is seeking a Head of Environmental & Hazardous Waste Services to own the P&L of a $300M revenue business. This remote role (US-based) requires strategic leadership across commercial, operations, and support teams, with responsibility for AOP, growth, and pricing strategy.

Travel up to 50% of the time. The incumbent will guide transformation initiatives, ensure EH&S compliance, and partner with Finance to optimize margins and EBITDA in a dynamic, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years leadership experience in hazardous waste.
• Proven P&L leadership experience.
• Strong commercial acumen and growth leadership.
• Experience in regulated environments (EH&S, waste services).
• Track record of leading transformation.
• Ability to operate strategically and tactically.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of a cross-functional organization (~90 employees) across commercial, operations, and support functions.
• Own and deliver Annual Operating Plan (AOP) across revenue, Gross Margin, and EBITDA.
• Drive pipeline-led growth (new business, cross-sell, churn recovery).
• Optimize portfolio toward targeted high-value verticals.
• Drive pricing strategy and value capture in partnership with Finance and Commercial.
• Excellence in safety and compliance culture, EH&S adherence, and risk mitigation.
