Job summary

WPS Health Solutions is seeking a Senior Overpayment Recovery Specialist to assist the team with direction, workflow, and coordination of activities within the department. You will mentor staff, help resolve complex cases, and support audit processes while ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements.

The role offers remote work options in approved states, starting base pay of $24.00/hr with formal training and a structured schedule.

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years Medicare Financial/Overpayment Recovery experience.
• Knowledge of Overpayment Recovery Regulations and HIGLAS system.
• Ability to interpret regulations and apply to manuals and guidelines.
• Experience with internal/external audits and quality reviews.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor with monitoring and escalations of workload inventories.
• Mentor new employees and provide process training.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operations reports, including Recovery Audit activities.
• Interpret regulations and develop/revise work instructions and manuals.
• Research and resolve complex Overpayment Recovery cases.
• Perform audits/quality reviews of unit work and support audit processes.
