Job summary

Samsara is hiring a Sr. Business Operations Manager to partner with Global Support leadership, driving the operating plan, capacity modeling, and data-informed decision making. You will craft defensible models, lead reporting cadences, and influence senior stakeholders with actionable insights.

This high-autonomy role requires crafting executive-level narratives and leveraging AI tools to accelerate planning and improve efficiency across Support, Finance, and People teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in business operations, strategic finance/FP&A, management consulting, strategy, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited university.
• Experience owning an annual operating plan, capacity plan, or equivalent multi-quarter planning process for a large organization.
• Demonstrated experience building and owning complex operating or financial models (headcount, capacity, and cost).
• Experience owning a recurring executive business review cadence end to end (MBR/QBR).
• Strong ability to build executive-level presentations and strategic communications.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual operating plan for the Support organization end to end, translating forecasts into a defensible plan and budget.
• Model and pressure-test strategic levers such as headcount, vendor/BPO mix, cost to serve, and automation impact.
• Own the Customer Support business review cadence (monthly and quarterly) end to end with narrative and insight.
• Build and maintain reporting frameworks for productivity, cost to serve, CSAT, and time to resolution.
• Partner with Support leaders on programs that turn plan into behavior, including capacity allocation and incentives.
• Leverage AI tools and self-serve data capabilities to accelerate modeling, narrative generation, and reporting.
• Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally.
